One-Shot offers the disposable single-use blending lid (shown in red) and the reusable blending lid shown in blue). The single-use is used in conjunction with IcePaste™ or ice nuggets (Scotsman unit), whereas the reusable lid can also operate with most types of ice cubes.
Both PET clear plastic containers from Solo and paper cups of the correct top diameter can be used in the One-Shot blending system. The PET container is of a special One-Shot patent pending design to give it the strength to withstand clamping and internal vortex during the in-cup blending process.
The single-use blending lid is also the container lid after blending has taken place – just remove the top tab and insert a straw. Use flat or domed lids if you are using reusable blending lids.
Paper cups of the correct rim size can be used with both types of blending lid. Customised lids can often be produced for other rim sizes. One-Shot is also studying the use of eco-friendly containers as an alternative.
The reusable heavy duty blending lid was originally designed for McDonald's in Norway to withstand dishwasher temperatures of up to 90o Centigrade. When the single-use blending lids are used, they can be stacked in the special holder alongside the One-Shot blender.
Both the single-use blending lid and the reusable blending lid can be used on the One-Shot blender because of the patented twin-dog drive that handles the inner small drive on the single use blending lid and the large heavy duty external drive of the reusable blending lid.
