HydroStab™ for frozen smoothies

Keep your smoothies in the freezer!

Conventional smoothie production using conventional blenders and ice offers "theatre" for the consumer, but gives the operator serious issues of output, noise and the endless cleaning of jugs. These types of concept are not suitable for many chain accounts with staff and floor space being a further major barrier.


One-Shot has used HydroStab™ to produce a frozen concentrated base of the product that needs to be produced, ie: a strawberry smoothie would be produced as a double-strength frozen product using standard ice cream technology. This product remains soft enough to blend at deep-freeze temperatures because of the HydroStab™ process.

The product base is packed into the container that would, after blending, be handed to the consumer. Only half or more of the container is filled with frozen concentrated product base. A top seal is applied or fitted to the container and shipped frozen through distribution to the point of sale.

So, you simply choose your flavour container, remove the top seal and add water. Fit single-use blending lid, place into the One-Shot blender and within 20 seconds a premium frozen smoothie, or any other type of frozen beverage, is ready for you.

1. Select your flavour choice from the freezer.

2. Add water & attach the blending lid.

3. Place the cup, upside down, onto the blending plate and blend.

4. Remove the plastic straw covering, insert a straw and enjoy.
